"I'm A Top Prospect" An online and TV showcase of the top talent heading into the NFL Draft, created by Gary Ravet.
With the exception of "I'm A Top Prospect", the entire NFL pre-draft coverage consists of mock drafts and analysis by football "experts" telling who they think the athletes are and giving their personal perspectives of those athletes.
In 2008, there was "I'm Kevin Smith", a web site featuring one guy as he headed into the NFL Draft- telling his own story, giving his own perspective.
In 2009, there was "I'm A Top Prospect", a web site featuring six NFL Draft prospects- each telling their own stories, giving their own perspectives.
In 2010, "I'm A Top Prospect", will include both a web site and a weekly television show featuring dozens of NFL Draft prospects!
What began as a web site that chronicled the life of one NFL Draft prospect, from the beginning of March through the NFL Draft, has evolved into a site that gives unique and unprecedented access and insight into the lives of some of tomorrow's NFL super-stars, from the date that they become eligible for the NFL Draft through Draft Day.
Through the use of web cameras and hand-held video cameras, each of the participating athletes tells his own story of who he is, what he is doing, and how he is preparing for the biggest day of his life- NFL Draft Day. Through this site, these men have the opportunity to let their fans and those who were curious about them know what kind of person they are and why they should follow them and their NFL career. NFL fans, fans of those players, fans of their alma matters, and fans of teams that are considering drafting those players have an opportunity to engage with these men in a way never previously possible.
