Gary Ravet is the President and CEO of Promark Productions, a leading independent producer of original features for broadcast, the internet, and mobile.

Promark’s features focus on uplifting and inspiring messages. The content ranges from sports to celebrity to everyday people, all with the common theme of sharing the human experience that raises the human spirit. An example is its highly-successful series “Who Made You?” that features the world’s best athletes sharing moving stories about who helped make them the person that they are today.

Gary has also been a creator and/or driving force behind many popular television programs, including Extreme Makeover, Home Edition, and the upcoming Great American Chefs Tour and Rivals.

Before forming Promark Productions, Gary was the CEO and founder of the national sports marketing firm Promark Sports whose clients included over 100 professional and collegiate sports teams and leagues, the top broadcast and cable networks, and leading internet providers. It also represented over 200 leading companies, including Blockbuster, Coca Cola, Coors, DirectTV, MasterCard, Master Foods, Miller Brewing Company, Pepsi, and Visa.

Gary has also owned several other successful businesses, including a real estate development company, a property management company, and a travel wholesaler.

Gary practiced law in Los Angeles and Washington D.C. following his graduation from Georgetown University Law Center. He obtained his undergraduate degree at University of Michigan.

Gary has served as a member of the Board of Directors of a number of philanthropic and charitable organizations, including United Jewish Federation, the Community Foundation, The Giving Back Fund, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Children's Hospital. Gary has served as the President of Congregation Beth El of La Jolla, California, and counts as one of his greatest accomplishments leading that organization through a period of financial struggles and declining membership to a point where it is financially viable and enjoys a beautiful new campus and growing membership.
